Why Choose Us?
At Pawprints & Ponytails, we believe that a walk is more than just a trip to a secure field. It’s an opportunity to teach dogs how to interact, socialize, and build proper behaviour in real-world environments. We focus on developing your dog’s social skills, ensuring they learn how to confidently navigate new surroundings, meet other dogs, and follow commands—turning each walk into a valuable training session that benefits both their mind and body.

Expertise you can rely on
With my background as a former police dog handler, I bring a specialized skill set in canine behavior, training, and handling. I have worked and trained dogs to a high standard in obedience, scent training and protection work. I also have experience and qualifications in working with Section 1 (banned breeds) and Section 3 (dangerous) dogs of the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991, so no dog is off limits.
My experience extends beyond dogs, having worked with a variety of animals including racehorses, which has sharpened my ability to adapt to different needs and environments.
This hands-on experience ensures I can offer tailored care for your pet, whether it's training, behavior management, or simply providing them with the attention they deserve.

We prioritise Safety
Your pet's safety is our top priority. That's why our van is fully fitted and tailored to meet the highest safety standards, providing a secure and comfortable space for your pet during every trip. From secure cages to climate control, every detail is carefully designed with your pet’s well-being in mind.
We are fully insured, offering you peace of mind that your pet is in safe hands throughout their journey. Additionally, I am pet first aid trained, so if any situation arises, you can rest assured that I’m equipped to handle it with confidence and care. There is always a fully equipped first aid kit on hand.
We go above and beyond to ensure your pet’s travel experience is not only fun but also safe and secure, every step of the way.

Small Group Walks
Quality over quantity, always. While I’m fully insured to walk up to 6 dogs at once, I choose to cap my group walks at 4.
Why?
Because your dog deserves proper attention, safe handling, and a fun, stress-free experience—not to be just one in a pack too big to manage well.
Smaller groups mean I can focus on each dog’s needs, behaviour, and safety, making sure everyone enjoys their adventure and gets the care they deserve.
It’s about giving your dog the walk they need, not just cramming the van.
